Papamoa Enterprises is a dairy farming business situated at Glenavy with two support blocks, one at Morven and one at Kurow. The business is owned and operated by Robert, Marjorie and Tasha Smith. The Smiths live on the Kurow property running all the young stock and wintering some cows. The Morven property which provides silage to the dairy units and winters cows has a manager that does the tractor work for the dairy farms. We have a contract milker on the two dairy units who employs the staff to run them. We are entering another development stage by changing the Andrews Rd dairy unit from borderdyke irrigation to pivot irrigation.
