Moorehill Farms is an established 336ha dairy farm with support blocks for young stock.
We are located in the South of Ireland on the Waterford/Cork border.
We are reaching out to someone in New Zealand that is planning to travel or return home to Ireland in the next six months and will be looking for a management role once you arrive in Ireland
We will calf 1100 crossbred cows which are divided 60:40 between two units.
Each unit has its own team and both teams come together at certain times of year for the bigger jobs. We also have a team that manage the calf rearing and young stock.
Each unit milks through a 50-bail rotary with excellent facilities including in parlour feeding, ACRs, automatic teat sprayer and auto drafting. Sense hub cow collars have recently been installed.
We are 100% spring calving and a grass-based system feeding approximately 7-800kgs of meal/year.
