The farm is made up of low lying swamp areas that are prone to flooding in the winter and rolling hills. There is a feed pad with concrete troughs. The cows are fed twice a day on the pad with a mixture of maize silage, PKE and kiwifruit, when available, throughout lactation. Calves are kept on farm until May 1st when they go off to grazing and the R2 heifers return for calving. The farm has two full time staff members and a part time calf dearer and relief milker. Farm is in a handy location 5min from closest beach, 15min from Te Puke, 45min to Whakatane and 35min to Tauranga.
