Due to a staff member leaving we are now looking for a reliable and motivated farm assistant to join our team on our Family owned and operated Dairy Farm in Kaikoura We are ideally looking for someone who has some dairy farming experience We have 2 dairy sheds a 47 ASHB with cup removers, and a 26 ASHB both with in-shed feed systems We milk TAD during spring then change to 3 in 2 from Early October until end of season Daily duties will include all day to day tasks including but not limited to milking, animal health, feeding out, farm maintenance, assisting in calving and mating, irrigation and working with other staff members Applicants are required to have: A good understanding of Animal Health, Excellent time management, Ability to work unsupervised, Confident in operating both 2 and 4 wheel motorbikes, High Hygiene Standards, Calm Stock Handling Skills, Good Communication Skills Must hold a current NZ work visa if applicable and a current drivers...
