Ratanui farm requires a herd manager/experienced farm assistant to help with the daily tasks involved on our dairy farm situated at Waitarere Beach near Levin 35mins south of Palmerston North and 1 hour north of Wellington. A 3 bedroom house with primary and secondary school bus pick up @ gate is available with the position. 1050 cows ( heifers milked once a day only)are milked through a 60 bail rotary shed with inshed feeding and protrac drafting. The successful applicant will support the farm owner with the daily management of a mixed aged 400 cow herd and must have some machinery experience and a New Zealand drivers license .
