We operate a simple farming system where the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop their skills in a wide range of farming areas including- milking, stock handling, tractor and motorbike skills, fencing, farm maintenance and many other aspects of the farming business. We milk 390 cows through a 36ASHB. Our farm is flat to rolling, and located only 5min drive south of Hamilton city. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the farm owner and the Trainee Farm Manager.
