We are a family run Share milking farm at Dorie 7 kms from Rakaia, 25 mins from Ashburton and 45 mins from Christchurch. The farm is a 90% pivot irrigated unit with the balance rotorainer and sprinklers. We also manage a 40ha wintering block across the road irrigated with a rotorainer. We run a mainly grass based system using in shed grain feeding when required with the 800 crossbred cows milked through a 50 bale rotary with ACR's and Protrack.
