Our 680 crossbred herd is milked through a 7-year-old 54 bale rotary shed, featuring a Read milking plant with ACR’s, PROTRACK and in-shed feeding.
The 195 ha milking platform has quality dairy pastures with optimum fertility levels that are predominantly spray irrigated via centre pivots with additional fixed grid, gun and lateral sprinkler/hard hose combination.
The dairy platform is adjacent to a support block used for grazing youngstock and wintering cows. The overall 500 ha unit is a combination of flat, rolling and hill country. This run-off provides a combination of grass, lucerne, kale and fodder beet.
The farm is 10 km from Culverden township, at the base of the Lowry Peaks range.
