The farm milking platform is 196 ha and has a 20ha attached runoff. We milk 450 spring calving cows, operating a system 2-3. We are TAD milking from spring to mid December then OAD to the end of the season. Winters all young stock and cows on farm. One person operated 26 bail rotary, and you only do one milking a day for the full season.
You will be working alongside us, 50/50 sharemilkers with a young family. We are located 10 minutes from Palmerston North and 5 minutes from Ashhurst.
There is an option to start earlier than 1st June as well .
