Springpark Farms is a family owned farm situated in South Otago 2 km from Clinton, 30km from Balclutha and 40km from Gore. We milk through a 40 aside herringbone with ACRs and auto teatspray. All cows are wintered on our 174 ha runoff 4km away on fodderbeet and kale. As they spring up they walk home to calve on a partially covered pad with lights. It is a well developed very tidy farm with excellent shelter. We have a mainly grass based system with silage and PKE fed in paddocks as required in Spring and Autumn. Effluent is distributed via K line over a 40 ha portion of the milking platform.
