West Otago, Heriot, 272ha grazing platform, peak milking 730 Friesian cross cows through a Westfalia 54 bale rotary with automatic cup removers and in shed feeding. This a reasonably high input system 4/5 operation. We have good equipment, herd homes, mixer wagon, silage wagon, Two JD tractors, mower etc. The cows are wintered off farm.
