The property is located on Sharlands Road in the Bankside Te Pirita area, approx 55kms west of Christchurch
The farm is in its 18th year of production and 190ha effective and we milk 660 cows for the 18/19 season and milk through a 50 bale rotary shed.( In shed feeding)
The farm is fully spray irrigated by two centre pivots and 1 briggs rotorainer, some sprinklers in the corners where the main irrigators don’t reach.
The farm is divided up into 14 paddocks with all of them leading straight towards cowshed from a well maintained central lanes. approx. 20min walking time
the cows are milked in one herd and we are a mostly pasture based lower input system.
