We are a 800 cow dairy farm located in Western Southland seeking 2 calf rearers to join our team of 4 on farm staff. Our farm will rear 160 heifer replacements, 120 will be fed on a JFC automatic calf machine and the other 40 along with beef calves will be feed on a 50 teat calfateria . You will be required to carry out the normal daily routine of sorting and feeding calves as well as maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all sheds and feeding equipment. 1 -2 seasons experience is preferred but not necessary basic background knowledge and understanding in farming is a must. Full training and safety around calves will be provided. Please note you must be living in New Zealand to be eligible for this roll.
