In the Lichfield area, peak milking 650 cows through a modern 40 aside Herringbone Shed with half of the shed having ACRs as well as Inshed feeding. The farm is of easy rolling contour with some steeper stuff down the back, has modern infrastructure and all animals are wintered on farm with the use of crops and supplement. We run 3 full time staff members including myself with a relief milker filling in to cover off days and do calf rearing. We are a high feed input system trying to maximize cow production as well as getting the basics right. All young stock are reared on farm and it is really rewarding seeing the calves progress through the different stages
