We are running a 400 cow dairy farm in the Waikato district, about 10 minutes to Morrinsville. Cows are milked through a 28 aside herringbone shed. We are looking for an experienced assistant farm manager to join our team. This is not an entry level position and you will need at least 3 years full time dairy farming and hold an Agricultural qualification at level 4 or higher. You will need proven ability to undertake (at high skill level) all aspects of dairy farming and be able to manage the farm in absence of the farm manager. Your duties will include pasture management, herd management and staff management. Must be punctual and reliable. Accommodation is not shared. We require clear Police history, no drug history and no health issues that will affect your ability to perform active farm work. Clean drivers licence required.
