A compact farm, essentially self-contained. Fenced into 56 paddocks with race access and water to all. Reliable dam water supply. High soil fertility with Olsen phosphate levels all over 50 and ph over 6.0. Despite the high levels, fertilizer is applied in spring and autumn. Re-grassing is undertaken through a turnip crop, one paddock per annum. All cropping work, fertilizer spreading, weed control, and harvesting are essentially done by independent contractors.
