Holtby Dairy (as a part of Holtby Ltd) is a 200ha, effective, dairy farm located 10 minutes North of Marton. Peak milking cows is approximately 520 cows through a 44 aside herringbone shed.
Is is a spring calving farm with a predominantly pasture based feed system with the addition of in-shed feeding, summer cropping and maize silage fed on a feedpad.
There are 3 houses available to the farm. One is a 4 bedroom home, recently renovated, and the other two are both 3 bedroom homes.
There are strong policies in place that are reviewed regularly between Farm Owner, Contract Milker and Consultant.
Holtby Dairy is a very picturesque farm with pockets of established native bush throughout as well as a care in the ownership of the land that is shown in an ongoing riparian planting plan. It is close to amenities with Marton being a full service town with good Primary and Secondary schooling.
