Tokama farm is flat to rolling well set-up dairy farm with about 46 hectares effective on the dairy platform. It is run as a system 1 grass dairy farm with cows milked through a 16 aside herring bone shed. There are two races and 47 well fenced paddocks. Effluent is spread to the whole farm from an effluent pond by external contractors. Production is very high per hectare (1300 approx). Very little nitrogen or supplement is used.
There is a 21 hectare dry-stock block that is about 15 minutes away used to raise young stock and provide silage for the dairy platform. The dairy farm is well set up and easy to farm. The run-off is a combination of well set-up steeper country and flats cut for silage (about 10 hectares).
