We are looking for a farm assistant with at least 5 years experience to help manage our 490 cows. We run a farm system 3 with maize, PKE, grass silage and turnips. The cowshed is 46 ASHB with protack and the cows have Afi milk collars. The farm is 15 minutes from Hawera and is a live out position. We have a staff room for break times. We require you to: Milk 490 cows, Twice a day. Operate and maintain milking equipment. Feed and handle cows e.g setting up break fences and bring cows too and from paddock to milking shed.
