Farm Details:
The 205 ha effective platform has a centrally located 50 bale rotary shed with in-shed feed system, Protrack and cup removers.
The farm is majority flat with small creeks that have created contours through the property. We peak milk a 575 kiwi cross herd with OAD for the heifers and light producers from Dec. The effluent system is a combination of K-line and travelling irrigators.
The farm operates with four people full-time through the spring. For a short time, we run the first 12 weeks on a 7+2/7+2/7+3 roster. We then switch to an 11/3 roster with sleep-in midweek.
Travel time from the farm is a 5 min drive to Collingwood, 25 mins to Takaka and 2 hours to Nelson.
