You would be operating under our manager on the dairy unit

*180 ha self-contained system 1 Dairy platform which milks 450 cows through a 30ashb with cup removers and auto drafting irrigated by:

2 Center pivots covering 50ha

80Ha sprinklers 45 Ha Gun irrigation and the remainder in K Line

*Halter technology for break management and heat detection

* Herd-I for BCS and lamness detection

*60 ha irrigated cropping land which grows peas, Maize, wheat, Barley and ryegrass seed crops irrigated by hard hose gun

*60ha dryland sheep which lambs down 450 ewes and finishes the progeny

*20 ha intensive beef finishing block under pivot

Then make sure you check the farm profile for details of the Farm  We are after someone who looking to join our young team who is punctual and has a good sense of humor  A person who helps the manager implement the farm policies and has input into the stock feeding with a good understanding and capability of the following Milking Calving Animal Health Irrigation Fencing Pasture management Tractor driving and feeding out Effluent applications  Take Charge when manager is on days off On and off farm training will be supported  Unfortunately, the position is live out at current but might suit someone who currently lives in Rolleston, Lincoln or Leeston all are within 15 mins drive from the farm  Must be willing to do a drug test and have a clean drivers license  Must be eligible to work in NZ and be currently in NZ 2 years' experience preferred
