You will be part of a 3 person team and supported with any further learning opportunities and developing machinery on farm skills, this job involves seasonal hours based on on farm activities, We are looking for someone who enjoys a cold beer at the end of the day and has a good sense of humor, but not essential.
What we are looking for:
Someone who:
o Has prior experience, has great management and leadership qualities as well as working in with the team,
o Shows initiative, has a great work ethic, practical skills and is reliable and responsible in all areas of work and brings a positive attitude.
o Has a passion for the agricultural industry, animals/stockmanship and strives for producing the best animals possible.
o A keen eye, and proficient with pasture and feed quality
o Knowledge/Experience of tractors and machinery
o Willing to work on a variety of tasks, general repairs and maintenance (fencing/water) machinery
operations, stock husbandry
o Willing to work in a management position reporting to the Farm Owner and other Block Manager
o MUST have NZ residency, Living in Nzand a valid 3 year work visa in New Zealand
o MUST have current FULL driver’s license
