Due to change in circumstances we are on the hunt for a Herd Manager to help us drive our 380-milking cow business through 40 aside herringbone shed. As a Herd Manager, you will play a significant role in supporting our daily farm operations, primarily focused on the care and management of our dairy herd. Key Responsibilities: You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy including:  Assist in the daily care and management of our herd Perform twice a day milking duty Assist in the shifting & feeding and health monitoring of cows Assist with calving and other seasonal tasks Operate and maintain farm machinery as required Follow farm protocols and procedures to ensure the health and welfare of livestock Shed cleaning & set up and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the farm premises Other general farm duties and Work closely with the Share Milkers to achieve farm goals.
