About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable 2IC or Herd Manager to join our small dairy farming team. This is a hands-on and wide-ranging role working closely with the contract milking couple across all aspects of the family-owned farming operation. The role would suit someone who enjoys looking after and milking cows, and has attention to detail regarding both animal welfare and pasture management. The farm uses utilises Halter technology on the mostly rolling contour and peak milks 500 cows through a 50-bale rotary with in-shed feeding, ACR’s, auto-teatspraying and Protrack drafting.
