We are seeking a superstar Herd Manager to join our team this season who is passionate about the dairy industry, keen to learn & progress. Based 8 mins from Westport 200 ha, milking 390 cows through an 30 bale herringbone, ACR's well set up farm. You will assist with daily operational tasks as directed, which will include but are not limited to: Milking: Assists in efficient and hygienic milking routine. Assist with cleaning and maintaining the milking plant and dairy equipament and reports any faults to senior staff. Animal Health: Assists with identifying, treating and reporting of stock health issues Nutrition: Assists with feeding, handling and moving stock People: Ability to work in a team Health and safety of people and animals are a priority.
