We have a contract milking opportunity on our farm located 20 mins from Gore and 30 Mins from Balclutha.   It is a well developed farm of predominately flat which produced an average of 187,000 kg MS in the previous three seasons.   The farm is 179 ha and 175 ha effective and carries 430 cows with opportunity to increase this.   We have a 44 bale rotary with inshed feeding, ACR’s and Auto teat spray. The cows are grazed off during the winter and younger stock are all grazed off all year. We work closely with our farm advisor.  The successful applicant will be in charge of all aspects of the day to day operation of the dairy unit.
