Looking for an experienced dairy farmer to join our team.  Rostered days off would normally be during the week - Tuesdays/Wednesday for example.  We are looking for someone who can step in when other employees have days off and so experience is required. We need minimum 2 days a week, being Saturday and Sunday and up to 5 days. Must be a team player and flexible to help out with herd tests and step in when others have holidays etc.  We have 470 cows which are split into 2 herds. When you are milking you would be responsible for looking after one herd, milking twice a day with another person in the shed.  Getting cows in, milking, clean up and checking water when locking cows away. Great references are essential. Must be eligible to work in NZ. Further experience with on farm repairs and maintenance.  Accommodation on site is modern 2 bedroom. No inside dogs.
