Milking 500 cows through a 40 aside herringbone shed, utilising Halter on farm. This beautiful property set between Tirau and Putaruru is on the look out for an experienced and enthusiastic 2IC . They require someone who is looking for a new challenge and opportunity to share their skills with the team. You would need to be tech savy to operate Halter, MINDA, and water management and enjoy record keeping and reporting.
You like to work in a team and can also work sole charge. You are confident with tractor work and can follow on farm procedures and policies.
You can manage staff, including relief milkers and calf rearers.
'Attitude is everything'
You will have at least 3 years experience dairy farming in New Zealand, preferably L3/L4 dairy qualification, particulary Feed and Pasture management.
