I am looking for someone that is keen and has at least 1 year's dairy farming experience to join my team in Springdale, Waikato. I peak milk 270 cows spring calving through a 25 aside herringbone.  The individual I am looking for has at least 1 year's dairy farming experience, enjoys working with animals, motivated and passionate about dairy farming. As a member of the team, you will be required to carry out the following tasks: Milking 270 cows sole charge Putting up and taking down break fences Some tractor work may be required Calf rearing  Identifying calved cows and picking up calves Identifying and being up to treat down, sick or lame cow  This role is fixed term for 6 months from the 1/06/2025 till 1/12/2025. Ideally, I am looking for someone who doesn't require accommodation on farm. 

We are looking for someone keen to join our dairy farm operation, located in the Eastern Waikato - 40 minutes from Hamilton.  We peak milk around 850 cows, spring calving, through a 50-aside rotary supplying two dairy companies.  Our farm operations are supported by modern infrastructure including a feed pad and composting barns, with the shed using Protrack and CowManager to monitor animal welfare and health.  As a member of a team of four, your main duties will include: Milking twice a day plus shed cleaning and set up Shifting cows Weed control Calving Identifying sick animals and letting farm manager know Setting break fences And other general farm duties as needed.
