Herd Manager We are looking for1 experienced Herd Managers to join our dairy farm team for the upcoming seasons. The farm operates a 54-bail rotary shed with Protrack and ACRs. The successful applicants must be in New Zealand and must have at least 1 years’ relevant dairy farming experience. The successful applicants must have a clear understanding of the daily operations of a dairy farm and must be responsible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team. Key duties and responsibilities include: Assisting with herd management, animal health monitoring, calving, mating, pasture allocation, and daily farm routines as directed by the Farm Manager. Carrying out daily milking and shed duties. Setting up fences and assisting with general farm maintenance. Carrying out weed spraying as required.
