This job will mainly revolve around milking 580 cows through a 50 aside herringbone with ACR's,  Protrack, auto teat sprayer and in shed feeding. We are on the lookout for someone who is motivated and reliable, training will be provided and opportunities for progression available. As a Farm Assistant you will be responsible for carrying out essential farm duties with minimal or no supervision.   These duties include: Milking Feed allocation Pasture management Animal health treatments Operating machinery Data recording Seasonal stock management (such as calving and mating) Weeding, fencing, and pest management Using and maintaining farm vehicles, machinery, and infrastructure Following health and safety and wellbeing procedures Nutrient, effluent, and water management work.
