Hi We are looking for a calf rearer over the busy winter and spring months to look after all aspect of calf rearing. Duties will include but not limited to: Feeding calves twice a day for 4 days then transfer to OAD Treating sick calves Organising bobby calves for truck Feeding calves outside on feeder Feeding grain and hay to calves. We offer a supportive working environment, good infrastructure and gear and accomodation for right applicant. We rear maximum 200 replacement heifers and 120 beef calves. There will be ongoing relief milking throughout the season if desired.

We require an honest reliable Herd Manager to join our team in Southland.  Two years experience or a level 4 qualification relevant to agriculture required. Duties include but not limited to Milking:   Efficently, hygienically and good milking routine Animals:  Safe handling of animals, records, reports and treat, any health issue   Feed: Controls weeds. Sets break fences and feeds out as directed. Environment: Assists with nutrients, effluent and water management People: Works well with others, building a strong team culture Machinery Vehicles and Technology: Safely uses and maintains plant and farm vehicles.
