Hello, we are looking for a calf-rearer on a farm just out of maheno to join our team, 12mins from Oamaru. This will start from appoxamatley the 15th july and carry on till mid october. the job will include teaching and feeding calves, diagnosing and treating sick animals, keeping equipment clean and tidy, drenching calves and solving problems on your feet, this is a very satisfying and rewarding job. there is also the opportunity of doing other farm work if you are looking to fill you whole day in. this is a good part time opportunity for someone living in the area there is shared accommodation available for the right applicant. the Hourly and the rooster can all be negotiated. to skill and person. we will be looking at rearing no more than 250 calves to 100kgs through a simple set of brand-new calf sheds so after the little things are ironed out should be a very quick and efficient system with a very low infection rate.due to the new set up never having calves in it before,...
