We have a rare and exciting opportunity available for the right person on our dairy sheep farm. We are family-owned and operated and milk 500 ewes through a 12-aside herringbone (24 cups) with an in-shed feeding system farm across 50 hectares. There is also a quaint and newly kitted out process factory on site where we processes the raw milk for cheese and yoghurt on site. About the Role The farm is located in Kirwee, 20 minutes from Christchurch City. There is a short drive to the Darfield town centre which includes all amenities a family would need. We are self-contained with support land, all located within a 5-minute drive.  The Friesian cows are milked through a 50 bale rotary shed, automatic cup removers and protrack automatic drafting.
