450 cow farm in Karamea seeks herd manager for 225 cows, with work for a partner in Spring (assisting calf rearing) etc.   We farm next to the Karamea river in a valley with National Park as backdrop. Herd homes with 400 cow capacity. Runoff attached to the farm, own silage/baleage fed in Winter.  Closed herd, X-bred/Jersey, herd test 4 times annually.   3 bedroom home with log burner, well insulated and renovated - available to successful applicant and family   Accredited employer. Looking for a tidy person who wants to succeed in the dairy industry, has to be willing to learn our farm system and keen to look after stock and machinery well.   Roster negotiable, preference is 11/3 or 8/2,8/3.   Cv with current references essential.
