We are looking for  Herd Managers to join our team, with the opportunity to step into a 2IC role and take on increasing managerial responsibility. We milk 850 cows through a 54-bail rotary with ACRs. This is a hands-on role, but we are looking for more than someone who can simply complete the day-to-day farm tasks. We want someone with passion for farming, sound knowledge, initiative and ambition who can become a genuine support to the Farm Manager and confidently take responsibility when required. The role involves understanding and taking responsibility for the daily running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. You will need to work effectively with minimal supervision, supervise and train other staff, organise daily tasks and help ensure the farm runs smoothly and efficiently.
