We are a family owned operation based in the Kaikoura area looking for a Farm Assistant to join our team. Located 20 mins from Kaikoura. We peak milk 450 cows through a 44 bale rotary with in shed feeding, Protrack and ACR's. The successful applicant would be assisting our experienced farm manager in a wide range of duties which include but are not limited to milking, fencing, tractor work, young stock, animal health and much more. Applicants must have a positive attitude and good sense of humor. At least a years dairy farm experience is preferred but not essential. This may also suit a couple where the partner would like part time work assisting with milking and calf rearing. Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic farm manger for our grass based dairy farm inland from Kaikoura. If you are wanting to advance yourself in the dairy industry and you love cows please apply. The applicant must be good with stock, pasture management and experience with irrigation is preferred. The successful applicant must be motivated as we will expect him/her to manage the day to day running of the farm. The successful applicant will work along side the farm owners.   For the right applicant this position has the potential to become a contract/lower order position in coming seasons.
