We require a keen, enthusiastic 2ic for the up in coming season starting 1st June 2025.  Our ideal candidate will be someone who has high standards a team player is competent in all aspects of dairy farming and has drive for getting the job done. To be considered for this position you NEED to be currently in NZ and eligible to work, have a current drivers license and pass a pre employment drug test. What we are looking for: Excellent communicator, A positive attitude, Passion for dairying and a solid foundation in cows, grass management and animal health, Attention to detail, Can work alone. 60 bale rotary shed auto drafting and ACRS. We are lookaing for a Herd Manager, preferrably a couple to join us for the 2025/2026 season. Full time calf rearing position and relief milking is also available for the partner.  Farm is located between Mataura and Gore. Milking 530 cows through a 54 bale rotary. ACR’s , teat spray, in shed feeding. Cows are wintered on the farm. You will be required to assist with the day to day running of the farm. Looking for someone enthusiastic and has a great attitude towards work.  We run a 5 on - 2 off roster throughout the year, with a 6 on - 1 off roster during calving season Applicants must be drug free and able to pass a drug test and must hold a full drivers licence.
