We are urgently looking for an experienced farm Assistant due to unforseen circumstances. We milk 800 cows on rotary shed. Automatic cup remover. Automatic teat spray. Experienced Calf Rearer required, 4km North of Gore on Waimea Hwy. Rearing 290 replacements & selling 4 day old beef calves. You would be the senior calf rearer working with another during the peak to help reduce workload for a good work environment. This job starts on the 29th July and runs until the end of September. Excellent purpose built calf sheds with underground milk line from dairy shed. Understanding of best practice animal health and growing good quality stock a must. We are also seeking applicants for an assistant calf rearer to support the senior calf rearer. Hours will be flexible and negotiable.
