Located 10 minutes from the Hamilton suburb of Hamilton, one of our team, of 16 years standing, is taking a 6 week break. We're looking for someone to work on average 5 days per week to help fill the gap while he is away. Our very placid herd is milked through a 44 bale rotary, complete with ACR's, auto teat spray and in shed feeding. We're offering a Fixed Term agreement starting March 24th for applicants already in New Zealand who have previous dairy farming experience.

We are seeking a 2IC/assistant Manager, milking 950 Friesian cows through a 50 bail rotary complete with ACRs and automated meal system.  A 300 ha flat farm 16 kms from  Morrinsville and 10 km from Hamilton  Running three herds on a system 3 to 4, feeding baleage and maize silage when necessary in paddocks and feed pad The successful applicant must have: - Good time management - Be healthy, fit and motivated - Good communication skills - General knowledge and experience in all aspects of dairy farming - Competency with tractors, feedout wagons ,bale feeders and quad bikes,  - Be eligible to work in NZ  - Hold a current NZ drivers licence

We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable and honest person to join our current team in a farm assistant role.  You will work alongside the contract milkers and 3 other full time team members on our operation located in Gordonton. The cowshed is a 50 aside herringbone with automatic cup removers and automatic teat sprayer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a team and is an effective communicator. We are looking for someone who is happy to follow instructions but will also be encouraged to use their initiative to carry out some tasks on their own, so confidence in both situations is a plus.
