We are seeking an energetic 2IC to help lead our team. We are passionate about the dairy industry and high performance and are seeking someone who shares these values. We aim to always have happy, fully fed cows that consistently achieve great production and reproduction results.  Our farm is flat and fully irrigated by pivot and fixed grid on MGI water. We plan to calve 1,000 cows next season. Cowshed is a 54 bail rotary with cup removers, in shed feeding and auto drafting. We also have Allflex collars.  We lease a flat, fully pivot and fixed grid irrigated run off 10minutes from the farm where we winter our herd and rear all our replacement heifers.  We can offer a competitive remuneration package for the right applicant, including a 4 bedroom home on farm with double glazing and a log burner (firewood supplied). The farm is located at Morven, South Canterbury. Salary package will reflect level of ability. Our usual roster is 2 days on, 1 day off, 8 days on 3 days off....

We require a keen, enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager/2IC for the upcoming 2025-26 season starting June 1st. The successful applicant will be joining the on farm team of 8 full time staff. This 440Ha property is a tidy well set up 1275 cow operation milking through a modern 54 bale rotary and a 40 aside herringbone. The two farms are joint, staff will predominantly be assigned to one or the other farm depending on your desire.
