We are seeking a calf Rearer to join our team for the 2025-26 season. We are located in Ealing, 20 minutes from Ashburton and 25 minutes from Geraldine.  We are milking 650 freasin X cross cows, rearing 170 replacement heifers along with 150 Beef Calves which are sold at 4 days old. With the remainder being bobbied.  Replacement calves are fed twice a day for 10 days / 2 weeks and then put outside on OAD once they have been disbudded.  Great facilities, with new and well looked after equipment (pumps, vehicle etc) Start Date of July 21st (potentially earlier but will discuss with applicant), & finish at end of September (or later if required).  Hours are usually from 8am-1pm, - 2pm-5pm. Hour Rate will between $25-35/hour depending on experience. We run a 6-2 Roster over calving which the calf rearer is included in that, But we are flexible on days worked if need be.   We have well thought out protocols but are always open to new ideas. 3 of us on farm + calf...
