We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join us and our 2IC milking 500 quiet crossbred cows through an older but efficient 32 bale rotary shed located mid-way between Whitianga and Coromandel towns. This is a fixed term role for the lactation only July to April. We are having to re-advertise due to previously successful candidate changing their mind about taking the role on. This has traditionally been a 2 person farm utilizing calf rearers and relief milkers but we are transitioning to a model that will largely use 3 full-time labour units to achieve seasonal outcomes instead. We can be very flexible with how this role is structured so welcome applications from a range of experience levels and circumstances.  The main duties will be getting cows in,  AM and PM milkings, Shed clean-up and Hygiene and some general farm clean-up and weed control.
