you must be a nz citizen and be able to work in nz for this job. We are a driven contract milking couple who are looking for an awesome person to fulfill our farm assistant position  you will be working alongside our farm manager day to day and be well supported by ourselves daily through calving/mating. we have an older style 30 a-side herringbone cowshed with cup removers and in shed feeding. the herd is predominantly Holstein Friesian with approx 10% xbred. calving is due to start 20/7/2025 and finish 10/10/2025  roster through calving is 5.5 on 1.5 off Rest of season 11/3  no calf rearing required as farm owner rears the calves. preferably you will have: -At least one seasons experience or a school leaver with a farming background. -Confidence in milking cows/stockwork  -Confidence on two/four wheeled bikes -Willingness to learn and show initiative  -Be able to do break fences  This is a great opportunity to learn a range of other skills &...
