Farm assistant capable of milking solo. Have previous experience of tractor driving and feeding out. 

We have a fulltime Farm Assistant position with an immediate start available, located Rahotu – Taranaki. 530 crossbred cows ran in two herds. Milked through a 50 bale rotary with automatic cup removers, teat sprayer & drafter. Green water yard wash (no hosing), kids room and toilet. The cows are fed meal through the shed, PKE in the yard on their way out, and supplemented with baleage as needed. We are looking for a reliable, keen person to join and fit well with our current team of three. Some experience is preferred, but a genuine desire to learn (and perhaps progress) is a must. If you are interested in variety, we cover many aspects of farming from trimming feet, general fencing, water, drainage, irrigation, track maintenance, rolling and harrowing, hay making, firewood, engineering, mechanics and repairs… We like to see others learn, participate & progress. Happy to teach and allow time for outside training days i.e hoofcare seminars, discussion groups, AGITO...
