We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on a 365-cow dairy farm in the Rotorua area, milking through a 36-aside Herringbone shed. Previous dairy farming experience is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person who is hardworking, willing to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of animal care and farm operations. Your duties. We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.

We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant to join our team to assist in the day to day running of our Dairy Farm. You will be required to assist in all farming duties including milking, calving, feeding out and other general farm jobs. The position is based just out of Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty. The Position is full-time on a 160ha 450 Friesian cow farm with a 32 a-side herring bone shed. Minimum 30 hours per week with an average of 50 hours per week. Minimum experience 12 months work experience in a dairy farm or similar role. Qualification preferred but not essential. We are seeking an honest and reliable 2IC to join our team.  Our beautiful farm is located 40 minutes from Tauranga crossing and 10 minutes from Ngongotaha town with great schools nearby.  Milking 650 cows peak through a 50 bail rotary with ACR's and in shed feeding. Team of 3 full time with additional staff over calving. This role requires: honest and reliable team member with good communication skills.  assistance with daily milking and daily farm operations. perform general farm duties, including milking, break fences, maintenance  of farm equipment. ensure cleanliness and order in the milking shed and around farm. be able to identify animal health issues. have good self management skills, work well in a team and alone.  operate farm machinery- 2 wheeler, quad bike and tractor Safely and efficiently  adhere to health and safety guidelines.  3 years experience preferred with the ability to run milking shed on their own, training will be provided....

We are looking for someone to help fill some gaps.  This is a multi farm operation including drystock and dairy.  Farms are located close to each other. Looking for help with; stock shifts drenching weed control milking fencing tractor work pasture management 

Looking for a calf rearer to assist us over calving (1 July - 15 October). Will need to be confident and capable. Previous experience is preferred but the position can easily be learnt by someone willing. This position will involve rearing approximately 200 calves (milk, meal, hay and water) plus feeding bobbies. Will mostly be working autonomously, however there will be experienced staff nearby if help is needed. Could lead to more work on farm for the right person.
