We are seeking an enthusiastic person as soon as possible, with a minimum of 2 seasons NZ dairy farming experience. You will be required to assist with all aspects of  day to day dairy farming. This position is available to NZ citizens / residents with a valid NZ work visa, we are NOT accredited employers. We spring Calve 750 cows milked twice daily through a 60 Bale Rotary cowshed. You will be working alongside a  team of 4 full time and 1 part timer  An excellent 2 bedroom house is available We are a family owned and operated Dairy Farming Business with excellent long serving  Managment  The farm is flat, centrally raced with excellent infrastructure utilizing modern machinery and farming practices   You must have a genuine desire to be part of a thriving Dairy industry. We are looking for a motivated Farm Assistant for our 216ha dairy farm in Taranaki, milking 580 cows in a twin rotary shed. Gain hands-on experience with Halter & Protrack. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the farm operation, including: Milking cows - morning and/or afternoon shifts as required Day-to-day herd and pasture management Calving, mating, and animal health planning Operating and maintaining machinery General farm work Perform any other tasks as required to support the day-to-day operations of the farm We are looking for: Previous dairy farming experience preferred A strong work ethic and positive attitude Interest in technology and data-driven farming Good communication and leadership skills and able to work well within a team Couples welcome if both are interested in working on the farm Pre-employment drug testing and criminal record checks are required.
