We’re looking for someone who: ● Can preferably operate a tractor / skid steer and other machinery ● Is physically fit and comfortable with manual labour ● Has a strong understanding of health and safety and can follow safe work procedures ● Is reliable, practical and has a good work ethic ● Can work well as part of a team ● Holds a current driver licence ● Can pass a pre-employment drug test Experience with farming, machinery or similar physical work would be an advantage, but reliability, safety and a willingness to get stuck in are most important. Competitive pay based on experience.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying. We are looking for a motivated 2IC to work alongside farm owner. We are looking for someone with experience, motivation and passion. Someone with the ability to step into farm manager Must currently be in New Zealand. Must have at least 2-year dairy experience. Must be able to speak We milk 330 through 25ASHB based at Glenham. 40km from Invercargill 30 km from Gore. We also run 410 cow fully self-contained sharemilking job next door. We are hand on owners that work alongside our staff day in day out. We all work together on both farms to get the jobs done. Duties Include, Milking unsupervised, Calf rearing, weed control, Crop shifting, Effluent management, young stock work at runoff, Fencing and other farm duties. Agito also offered to further your skills in the industry. Roster is 5 on 2 off, 6 on 1 off over calving. Min hours 70hr fortnight.
