We are looking for someone  to work on our farm.Experience would be good but are also open to someone wanting a career change has good commen scenes and is keen to learn. Accommodation is handy to cowshed, could suit couple as there would be work available for partner. We are not much into titles (eg 2IC , herd manager etc) and like to think we work as a team to get the job done. However this role would involve being able to run the farm in the absence of the farm owner, and other experienced staff members. It is owner operator farm, with 500 cows, a 38 aside Herringbone with Protrack drafting and a wintering barn. The owner is actively involved and available on farm on a daily basis. There are two full time staff as well as this position. There is also a run off to develop, and young stock work to do too. We also make sure everyone always gets their time off. We run an 8 day on 2 day off roster. Pays are done through Paysauce and all holidays and public holidays are properly paid...

We are looking for a motivated 2IC to work alongside farm owner. We are looking for someone with experience, motivation and passion. Someone with the ability to step into farm manager Must currently be in New Zealand. Must have at least 2-year dairy experience. Must be able to speak We milk 330 through 25ASHB based at Glenham. 40km from Invercargill 30 km from Gore. We also run 410 cow fully self-contained sharemilking job next door. We are hand on owners that work alongside our staff day in day out. We all work together on both farms to get the jobs done. Duties Include, Milking unsupervised, Calf rearing, weed control, Crop shifting, Effluent management, young stock work at runoff, Fencing and other farm duties. Agito also offered to further your skills in the industry. Roster is 5 on 2 off, 6 on 1 off over calving. Min hours 70hr fortnight.

Windley Lands LTD is looking for a new team member to join 2 other people in the day to day running of our runoff block. Located 15kms out of Mossburn  Windley is a large scale operation with flat/rolling and some steep land that deals with calves, heifers, bulls and dry cows.  You will be working along side the farm manager and 2IC to provide the best environment for animals to thrive for the future.  Job entails  Shifting stock - temporary fences Wintering- winding up and setting fences, tractor driving etc. Yard work - Drenching, weighing, loading and unloading stock.
