The farm is a 230 hectare effective with a 50 bail rotary platform with in-shed feeding, automatic teat spray, auto draft with cow manager tags to aid with animal health and mating.  The successful applicant must have a proven track record in identifying pasture, moving and shifting of irrigators (travelling) organising and implementing animal health procedures, must be able to effectively manage other farm staff and at least 3 years dairy farming experience in New Zealand. This role ideally would suit a drive-in, but a small self contained 1 bedroom cabin may be able to be organised. In that case, will suit a single person only, NO Families We are based 10-15 minutes east of Tokoroa. Role can be tailored to suit the right applicant and is being created to help ease the workload of the team over early spring time in particular, then the rest of the seasons work.
