We are looking for an experienced calf rearer for split calving herd in Central Hawkes Bay.  This could be either a full time calf rearing/general farm assistant or part-time position. A three bedroomed house is available on farm.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a supportive and collaborative team.   We have 1800 cows at peak, a 60 bale rotary, twice a year calving ('Spring': July-Oct/Nov and 'Autumn': January-April)  and all-year milking on a 6:2 roster. We are busy! And to help us get things done we have a great team of 12+ people onsite as well as support from the wider Apatu Farms team.
